IHG Hotels & Resorts announced the opening of the Hotel Indigo Flushing in New York City.
The 150-key property, Indigo’s fourth in the Big Apple, is located in the city’s fourth-largest central business district, a major retail and commercial area that is just three minutes away from La Guardia airport and only five miles from John F. Kennedy International Airport.
Plans for the property were first announced in 2014.
Guest rooms feature a grey-and-muted-yellow décor with peach blossom murals that are in keeping with the peach blossom artwork in the lobby.  The hotel offers a fitness center that never closes as well as a business center with a scanner and telecopier.
Dining options for guests include Botanica, on the third floor, which offers breakfast and dinner, as well as the Botanica Bar and Lounge, which offers a variety of drinks including cocktails and beer.
The Flushing property is the city’s fourth Indigo. Others are located in Brooklyn, the Downtown area, and the Lower East Side of Manhattan. An Indigo property in Manhattan’s Chelsea neighborhood closed in the late 2010s.
