JetBlue Names Veteran Digital Exec as Tech VP

JetBlue Airways announced the appointment of Jason Lenhart to the position of vice president for technology.
Mr. Lenhart joins the airline from Warner Bros. Discovery, where he served as senior vice president of engineering and operations.  Prior to Warner, Mr. Lenhart, who began his career as a programmer at Lockheed Martin in 1997, held various managerial positions at Barclays, Comcast, and Wachovia.
“Technology has the ability to enhance nearly every touchpoint on the travel ribbon,” said Carol Clements, the airline’s chief digital officer. “Jason’s experience and innovative mindset will be critical to supporting our vast IT infrastructure and delivering on our product roadmap.”
Prior to joining Lockheed Martin, Mr. Lenhart attended the University of Tennessee in Knoxville where he studied mechanical engineering, and later attained a master of science degree in computer science at Drexel University in Philadelphia.
He lists his outside interests as arts and culture; education; and human rights.
