The Edit | A day at the beach

It’s time for another instalment of ‘The Edit’ – my regular series sharing considered buys to help you enjoy simple, relaxed moments at home and beyond. And with summer here, my focus this month is everything you need for a day at the beach.

As always, I’ve focused on timeless, versatile pieces that you can keep and use for years to come , so you’ll find elegant accessories, classic go-with-everything sandals, and minimalist swimwear made from recycled plastic and recovered fishing nets. I’ve also included a portable deckchair, lamp and parasol, a beautiful picnic set, and my favourite tried-and-tested sunscreen. And for dips in the sea or lounging on the sand, there’s a quick-drying towel from sustainable linen brand Lapuan Kankurit that barely takes up any space in your luggage and doubles as a handy travel blanket.
