Nene Lungay Paintings
Her grandfather, Ramon, was a painter who assisted Cebuano masters Raymundo Francia and Canuto Avila in painting murals on the ceilings and interior walls of several churches in Bohol during the early 20th century. Nene followed her grandfather’s footsteps and created beautiful works showcasing old Boholano traditions and delicate renderings of local fruit and flowers.
