Branson in the fall is all about being outside to enjoy the cool weather and the spectacular scenery. We've been to Branson numerous times and always found it fun, with new things to see and do. Here are some of our favorites.

Top of the Rock
At Top of The Rock , you'll find a world-class outdoor playground for kids and adults. I had no idea this incredible space existed in Branson. Created by Bass Pro Shops founder Johnny Morris, the property offers a chance to immerse yourself in the great outdoors—in style. Top of the Rock has some of the best views in the Midwest, and they only get better in the fall.
A Golf-Cart Tour
Here you'll find a nature preserve you can tour by golf cart, a top-notch 18-hole golf course, and to-die-for dining options. Go to Top of The Rock early in the day and experience the Lost Canyon and Nature Trail . We loved the drive-through tour via the golf cart. You'll see waterfalls, stunning rock formations, and Table Rock Lake views.
Make sure you grab a cold beverage before you join your driver. The cool Bat Bar is in the cave very near the start of the trail. It was so fun to have a glass of wine while we checked out the fantastic scenery. We made many stops for perfect fall photo ops along the tour route. The tour is popular, so make your reservations online to ensure you secure a golf cart. After the excursion, check out the Osage Restaurant for a stellar dinner, and stay for the super fun Sunset Ceremony. While you're there, snap some photos of the gorgeous stone church. We grabbed a spot on the balcony overlooking the church outside Osage. The sunset was breathtaking.

Stay at Big Cedar Lodge in Branson in the fall
Big Cedar Lodge is a picturesque, one-of-a-kind resort in the heart of the Ozarks situated at the highest elevation in Taney County near Branson, Missouri. The big draw here is the glorious views of Table Rock Lake; they are incredible here any time of year, but fall is when they become magical.

From high atop the Ozark Mountains, the views of Branson in the fall are stunning; you can watch the red and orange leaves dance in the distance. The property features luxury accommodations with a rustic flair. Get your private cabin, glam tent, or a guest room in the lodge. Or go glamping on the grounds of Camp Long Creek. You can't go wrong with any choice here.
Join in the Activities at Big Cedar Lodge
While you're here, take advantage of all the activities included in your stay. Big Cedar offers so many exciting things to do. You'll find miniature golf, bingo, pickleball, outdoor sports like kayaking, canoeing, horseback riding, and much more. For more fun, head to the greens and try your luck at one of the fantastic golf courses; there are five.

Silver Dollar City
Branson offers one of the most unique theme parks in the country, Silver Dollar City . Designed with a late 1800s Ozark theme, buildings and shops boast an old-time country feel. The park is built into the hills and hollers of the Ozark mountains, which means you'll have glorious scenery in Branson in the fall as you walk through the park. All the employees are dressed in character, adding to the Ozark atmosphere. We aren't huge amusement park riders, but here you don't have to be (although, you should try the Mystic River Falls if you can handle getting a little wet).

Silver Dollar City Amazing Crafts
Even without trying all the exciting rides, there's plenty to see and do. You'll find all sorts of artisans working on their crafts right in the park. We like to watch glass blowers and candlemakers work on their creations.

Silver Dollar City is home to over 100 craftsmen and women who make various hand-crafted items so that you can grab a made-in-the-USA souvenir. If you like music, you'll love the variety of free live musical acts and shows you can see in the park.

Tasty Food at Silver Dollar City
In the fall, Silver Dollar City is home to numerous festivals. Check out the Harvest Festival to see even more fine artists, thousands of illuminated pumpkins, and scary entertainment for the whole family. The cowboy camp features cowboy-themed food and even a chuckwagon cooking demonstration.
You can find tasty food around every corner of the park. Whether you like sweet or savory, there are many creative cuisines. You can observe the chefs make a lot of the food before your eyes, which adds to the entertainment. Go to Hatfield's Tater Patch and watch while they make the calico potatoes. One of my favorite items, and a park bestseller, is the famous Silver Dollar City cinnamon bread . We had a fabulous time eating our way through Silver Dollar City in Branson in the fall.
Branson Belle Lake Cruise
Get out on the water and check out the views from a different perspective. The Showboat Branson Belle is a fun way to explore the lake and be entertained. Experience dinner and a fun show on your 2-hour cruise around this massive lake with over 740 miles of shoreline. The Branson Belle offers cruises around the lake most evenings through the end of September.

Dining At Branson Landing
Head down to Branson Landing and grab a bite at one of the numerous restaurants. We loved the atmosphere at Landshark Bar and Grill. The laid-back island vibe made us feel like we were vacationing in a tropical paradise versus a Midwestern state. Another night we headed over to Andy B's with the whole crew for happy hour and enjoyed people-watching on the Landing. After a stroll along the Landing, we tried our hand at some retro arcade games. You could even bowl a game at their 9-lane bowling alley inside. Other options for dining include Guy Fieri's Kitchen and Bar and Smith Creek Moonshine . We also loved the pizza at nearby Mr. G's.

Stunning Hiking Trails in Branson in the fall
I like to hike, but I wouldn't call myself a pro. Branson offers a lot of trail options with varying lengths. There is a trail for people of all hiking abilities. Grab your shoes and take a hike to appreciate the fall foliage. One of the most popular and easy hikes is the trail around Table Rock Lake. It's a 2.2-mile paved out and back trail that follows a portion of Table Rock Lake. You'll find plenty of opportunities to immerse yourself in the glorious colors of fall.
