Prepare and Organize for a Stress-Free Flight
First and foremost, to avoid feeling anxious, you should be very well prepared and organized. Do not pack in a rush because you will likely forget something important.
Take your time and have a prepared packing list on hand. Pack lightly and check the baggage rules to avoid any inconveniences. Do not forget to pack according to the weather and your travel occasion.

Keep your important documents and personal things close and ready to pack. If your trip Is related to work, do not forget some type of business identification.
Travel Pro Tips
Book your tickets online, and remember that most tickets these days are non-paper because they are more eco-friendly. You'll have your boarding passes on your phone. If you want paper tickets, you can print them off when you check in 24 hours before your flight.

Research has shown the middle of the week—Wednesday, for example—is great for avoiding crowds. If you can adapt your flight according to this, you will probably avoid bumping into too many people in the airport.
If you still feel anxious, business travel companies like TravelPerk offer 24/7 travel support for peace of mind if anything goes wrong.
Check the Rules About Food and Snacks on the Plane
You will probably get hungry at some point, especially if you fly long-distance. Most airlines allow you to bring snacks in your carry-on bag. You're better to avoid foods with peanut butter because if a passenger has peanut allergies, the flight attendants will not allow you to eat those foods. Also, avoid foods with overpowering smells to be respectful of other passengers.

You will also want to bring on water and perhaps some other drinks. Remember, you cannot take these through security, so carry an empty water bottle and fill it up after you clear security. After clearing security, you can purchase sodas, coffee, and other drinks. You cannot take alcoholic beverages on a flight.
Arrive Early at the Airport to Ensure a Stress-Free Flight
You should be at the airport at least two hours before your departure time for domestic flights and three hours for international flights. Spending hours in the airport can seem boring, but you can always find something to do there. And, if there is a long line at security, it could take you almost two hours to clear security and arrive at your gate. Keep in mind that airlines cut off access to the plane about 15 minutes before departure time.
You can check your email while you wait and ensure you have done everything before getting on the plane. You can also opt for a meal, coffee, or perhaps one cocktail. Be careful not to drink more than one drink before boarding the plane. You can also discover some unique airport shops for last-minute gifts or souvenirs.

Entertain Yourself for a Stress-Free Flight
If you tend to feel anxious while flying, prepare something to get your mind off it. For example, bring your favorite book or try to relax by watching a movie. You might want to download your favorite movie to your tablet to watch it during the flight. You can't count on having WiFi, so download everything ahead of time. Remember that you can use your phone, tablet, and laptop during the flight, but everything must be in airplane mode.

You can always try to relax and fall asleep on the plane. You can pack a soft eye mask to block any light. We also recommend traveling with noise-canceling headphones to drown out conversations and crying children. If you fall asleep, your flight will feel quick and easy.
