The Magic Hatter is bringing his award-winning entertainment to the streets, with his Wizard Walk of York.
“Magic, mystery, comedy and excitement plus a dash of York’s history…the ingredients for a truly unforgettable experience for all the family!”
Public tours are running on selected evenings, starting from the bottom of The Shambles opposite The Golden Fleece. Pre-booking required.  Private tours are available for birthdays, school groups, brownies, cubs and more. A wonderfully whimsical tour that wizard fans will go Potty for!
Wizard Wand Kits are also available, subject to availability. A handcrafted wand and instructions for seven tricks that young witches and wizards can learn at home. Plus a FREE printable certificate!

** Note from Nikki: If you have younger kids with you, there is no better tour for you.  We have seen The Magic Hatter many, many times when the kids were little and wholeheartedly recommend him. **

York Maze – Hallowtween (aimed at 10-15 years)
28th – 31st October 2023
Too old for witches tales, too young for Hallowscream!? Welcome to HallowTween ! The frightful new Halloween event for 10 – 15 year olds and scaredy cat adults! Brought to you by the same team behind the multi-award winning Hallowscream – winner of the Best Scream Park 2018.
Housed under a giant marquee HallowTween is all under cover and takes place on the same site as Halllowscream. Venture into three of Hallowscream’s infamous haunted house attractions but without the shocking scare actors!: Barnageddon 3D, Corney’s Cornevil and The Singularity.
These are still scare attractions and won’t appeal to everyone but without the live actors they offer a milder level of scare (see age advice information below). Plus illusionists performing death-defying acts on stage, music, side-shows, Halloween characters, hot food and more.
See our full review and video of Hallowtween here.
