50 Photos of Kyoto that will inspire you to visit

Photos of Kyoto, Japan
We plan to write a detailed blog post about our trip to Kyoto in the near future. However, today we’d like to share some of our favourite photos of Kyoto.
There are many reasons to visit Kyoto. It’s considered to be the cultural capital of Japan and it’s said have 1,600 hundred temples and shrines. One can easily spend a month in Kyoto and still not uncover all of its treasures. The whole city is basically a UNESCO World Heritage Site .
We spent four nights in Kyoto on our recent trip to Japan. Most of our time was spent visiting temples, exploring markets and eating delicious Japanese cuisine.
Here are a few photos from Kyoto that will hopefully inspire you to visit.
