Intoxicated Actor Refuses to Sit Next to Sober Passenger Wearing Face Mask on Flight From (‘Uh, Where the Hell Am I at’) Houston Airport

A Southwest jet taking off in Newark. The airline is the dominant carrier at Houston’s Hobby Airport.
An actor who apparently doesn’t even merit a Wikipedia page was kicked off a flight departing from an unnamed Houston Airport on Saturday.
Forrie Jordan Smith, who regularly appears on the neo-Western drama “Yellowstone,” said in a video he posted on Instagram that he had been removed from a flight and left stranded in Space City for refusing to sit next to an already-seated passenger who was wearing a face mask, although he seemed to be unable to recall quite where he was at one point of the video.
“I just got kicked off a plane,” Smith said, speaking in a voice wreaking of intoxication and appearing to have alcohol gaze nystagmus, “uh… where the hell am I at…,” and stops to listen to a PA announcement which seems to tell him where he is, as he continues “uh Houston, Texas, because I told them I didn’t feel comfortable sitting next to somebody with a mask on.”
“I’ve been sitting in an airport for three hours,” he continued. “Yeah, I’m drinking,” he confessed.
“I ain’t drunk, but they throw me off the plane because I’m drunk, because you people won’t stand up and tell everybody what bulls–t this is.”
“I just told them I didn’t feel comfortable about sitting next to somebody that had to wear a mask, and I’m off the plane,” Smith repeated before the video ended.
It was unclear on what airline the actor had hoped to fly on. An enquiry to his Instagram page remained unanswered at press time.
Smith, who skipped the Screen Actors Guild Awards in 2022 due to coronavirus vaccination mandates for attendees, has made his feelings on this front known as well.
“I’m not vaccinated, I will not get vaccinated,” Smith had said in a since deleted Instagram video. “I believe they compromise your immunities … It’s no offense to anyone. It’s just my beliefs. I just don’t believe in that stuff.”
