Where to Find Bottomless Mimosas or Champagne in La Jolla

On the lazy weekends when you’re feeling particularly festive, perhaps knowing where to find bottomless mimosas and/or champagne in La Jolla might come in handy.

Do make reservations at these La Jolla restaurants in advance in order to avoid disappointment. As information is always subject to change, call first to verify these free-flowing libations are still on offer.

CUSP Dining and Drinks

We need to add $12 bottomless mimosas to the list of reasons why we love CUSP Dining & Drinks . Boasting one of the best views in La Jolla, brunch is an excellent time to come because light floods the contemporary decor in the most uplifting way. Paired with bottomless mimosas, you are sure to leave happy.

The lump crab one eye Jack Benedict with brioche, tomatillo hollandaise and rosemary potatoes is a favorite. I’ve had the huevos rancheros (loved it).

CUSP Dining and Drinks
Days: Saturdays and Sundays
Brunch hours: 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Address: 11th floor of Hotel La Jolla, 7955 La Jolla Shores Drive, La Jolla, CA 92037

Crab Catcher

As the name implies, Crab Catcher’s specialty is seafood. Order a brunch entree and it will come with complimentary croissants and champagne. As most breakfast-style entrees average around $20, this is pretty good value. Of course, if you’re splurging on a pound of Red King Crab Legs, that will set you back $65. The main dining room boasts stunning views of La Jolla Cove .

Try the poached eggs La Jolla which are Southern-style blue crab cakes with Old Bay spices topped with poached eggs and spicy remoulade.

Crab Catcher
Day: Sunday
Brunch hours: 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Address: 1298 Prospect Street, La Jolla, CA 92037

Public House

Tables are first come, first serve unless you have a party of six or more. Though there is plenty of beer to be had between 43 on tap and over 450 in bottles, go on the weekends for $15 endless mimosas. You have to purchase a meal (you’ll want to, the burgers are delish) and the deal doesn’t apply to other discounts or promotions.

The Public House
Days: Saturdays and Sundays
Lunch times: 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Address: 830 Kline Street, La Jolla, CA 92037

Mimosa Honorable Mentions

These places don’t go bottomless, but their mimosa pours earn a nod. Missing your favorite place? Let me know.

The Cottage

Fresh squeezed OJ mimosas always hit the spot here for no special reason other than that they just taste good.

Brockton Villa

Seasonal juice mimosas (tangerine is amazing) and traditional OJ mimosas come by the glass or in liter carafes, offered daily. The liter carafes always kick a festive brunch up a notch. Order the Coast Toast !

The Med

Brunch offerings have changed since the La Valencia renovation. I was told by staff last time I was at Cafe La Rue that they do not have bottomless mimosas but I see reference to them online. Hang on… will verify.

Whisknladle/PrepKitchen

The cucumber honey mimosa is to die for. I’m not sure how they came up with this combo, but it’s a perfect, spa-like blend of light sweetness dulled by cucumber and bubbles.

Which La Jolla restaurants am I missing? Who else has notable and/or bottomless mimosas?
