All Hail to the New Caesars Republic in Scottsdale, Arizona

Like the popular Saguaro cacti that stand tall in the Arizona desert, new luxury hotels keep opening in the Valley of the Sun to meet the demand from travelers across the globe.



One of the newest to open last March is the Caesars Republic Scottsdale, the first non-gaming hotel among the Caesars Entertainment Group hotels in the United States.

Perfectly located just steps from the premier luxury Fashion Square Mall, the shopping, dining and entertainment mecca, the Caesars Republic features a 5-star hotel rating. Here you expect all of the same luxurious touches you’ve come to expect from Caesars. Plus, the hotel offers all of the latest upscale amenities you’ll appreciate from this lifestyle hotel experience.  



Plus, the hotel offers a bustling nightlife, making it the place to see and be seen in Scottsdale .



Also within walking distance is Old Town Scottsdale which offers art galleries, restaurants and shopping. Even if you don’t rent a car, you can still enjoy outstanding dining and entertainment that’s located nearby.



One of the reasons why Caesars chose to open in Scottsdale is because many of their guests at Caesars Palace and Casino in Las Vegas are residents here. They felt it would be a natural extension to provide their guests with the same luxury experience in their own backyard.

Everything at the new hotel, from the décor to the culinary offerings, takes inspiration from local traditions and tastemakers, reinforcing the energy and culture of upscale Scottsdale.



Step into the contemporary lobby of Caesars Republic and you’ll know you’ve arrived somewhere special. The designer touches make for an ideal location to sit and chat. It was my favorite place to hang out and watch the people.

You may notice a symbol throughout the property of a she-wolf walking across the lobby, on a pillow on the beds and other locations as I did.  



I was curious as to why. I learned that according to Roman mythology, the founders of Rome, twins Remus and Romulus were abandoned as infants along the Tiber River. A she-wolf came along and nurtured them, saving their lives. They grew to adulthood and became the founders of Rome. This symbol was honored on a coin and is still revered in Rome today. Caesars Republic continues to honor this centuries-old tradition as well.

Grandiose Accommodations


Starting with the platform bed to the contemporary walk-in shower, you’ll feel like you’re wrapped in ultimate luxury. The floor-to-ceiling windows provide exquisite views of the mountains with blackout curtains to maintain a restful night’s sleep.



I especially appreciated the cushy towels and premium bedding with soft-as-a-feather linens that made for such a relaxing stay. Or complimentary bath accessories. I also felt the love with the Caesars Republic bathrobe and slippers

The flat-screen television and complimentary wifi let me stay connected throughout my stay. All of the rooms come equipped with an extensive mini-bar featuring wine glasses, martini shakers and drinks, which can all be purchased. I had my eye on a $350 bottle of tequila only because it looked so beautiful.

Sublime Dining


Enjoy two signature restaurants created by celebrated chef, author and TV personality, Giada De Laurentiis, her first restaurants in Arizona.



At the grab-and-go restaurant Pronto, I tried a delicious and quick breakfast Sausage Egg Sandwich that was hot, fresh and tasty. It got my early morning off to a great start. Open for breakfast and lunch, the restaurant also serves house-made pastries, fresh-pressed paninis, salads, and specialty coffees. All are great to go or to enjoy in their relaxing seating area. The restaurant is open from 6 am – 2 pm daily. I sipped a cup of their amazing coffee every morning. I saw another guest devouring Giada’s lobster roll at lunch and it looked amazing.



For more leisurely dining and a fine dining menu, enjoy Luna by Giada featuring Italian specialty cuisine with California influences in a casual, welcoming environment. Try their Cioppino Shellfish Tower as an appetizer for its visual appeal of succulent Maine Lobster, crab, shrimp and clams, great for sharing. Recommended entrees include their Mezzi Rigatoni with porcini mushrooms and vegetable bolognese or their pan-seared salmon. Lighter appetizers will adore their signature margarita pizza or lemon pizza. But save room for their mouth-watering desserts such as tiramisu or mascarpone brownie cheesecake. Opens at 5 p.m. daily.


Choose from Two Pools


Hang out at the Cleopatra Pool and Bar and rent a comfy poolside cabana. Keep up with your yoga practice in the morning and sip a glass of bubbly at their champagne hour before lunch. Or head to the pool at Seven, which also offers a weekend brunch and other afternoon activities.  



The poolside restaurant, SEVEN, located on the seventh floor provides exquisite views of the mountains as well as dishes from Arizona, Mexico and the Yucatan Peninsula. Favorites include street corn pasta and black truffle steak frites, which were out of this world.



When the stars come out, SEVEN offers DJ music, coupled with amazing drinks and cuisine that make it the perfect place to linger. The views are as exquisite as the culinary experience.
