Chicago Unveils Design for Satellite Concourse 1 as Part of O’Hare 21 Terminal Area Plan

Mayor Brandon Johnson introduces the design for Satellite Concourse 1, the inaugural phase of the O’Hare 21 Terminal Area Plan, aimed at modernizing and expanding Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport. Designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM) with other renowned architects, the concourse features 19 gates catering to both international and domestic passengers, enhancing operational efficiency and passenger experience.
