Apple Customers Resort to Using Windows After Weather App Is (Once Again) Down

Some Apple users will be forced to use windows, namely the kind made of glass, so they can look outside and see if it is sunny or raining, since that information may not be available via the Apple Weather app.
Indeed, the Apple Weather app has not been having a good week.
The third reported instance of a Weather app outage showed that the service was wonky for some users Thursday afternoon.
“Some users may be affected,” Apple’s System Status dashboard showed at 4:10 p.m. EDT. “This service may be slow or unavailable.”
On Tuesday, many iPhone users awoke to a widespread unavailability of weather information across the globe.  The Apple System Status dashboard showed an “ongoing” issue with the app that began at 2 a.m. EDT on Tuesday.
Thursday’s outage seems to be more intermittent: One staffer in our New York offices was able to check weather info and suddenly saw blank lines where the temperature should have been.  The same was the case for another staff member in Munich.
Apple’s System Status dashboard Thursday afternoon merely said, “Some users are affected.”
The Weather app is one of the most often used apps included on Apple devices.  It is checked by millions of people across the globe multiple times per day.
