I have eaten in Delrio’s many times in the past, it has a lovely ambience.  Described as ‘The little Italian restaurant down the stairs by Micklegate’ this perfectly sums it up.  Nice independent long standing Italian restaurant in York. Fab Sardinian restaurant York.

In her words, “little friendly Italian, amazing food, and they love children, one of the best Italian restaurants in York”. La Vecchia Scuola is a fine dining Italian restaurant in a beautiful historic building in the centre of York.  A bit of history from the website: If La Vecchia Scuola’s walls could talk they would have incredible tales to tell!
