I have eaten in Delrio’s many times in the past, it has a lovely ambience.  Described as ‘The little Italian restaurant down the stairs by Micklegate’ this perfectly sums it up.  Nice independent long standing Italian restaurant in York. Fab Sardinian restaurant York.

Il Paradiso del Cibo is another restaurant in York I haven’t tried yet but comes recommended by a local family. In her words, “little friendly Italian, amazing food, and they love children, one of the best Italian restaurants in York”.
