Whether you are looking for a traditional American brunch or a more creative take on a classic, Dallas has something for everyone. If you’re looking for a cozy, rustic brunch spot in Dallas with a distinctly rural feel, look no further than Bread Winners Cafe and Bakery. Serving Dallas since 1994, their interior is filled with wood accents and ironwork, and plenty of windows that let in lots of natural light.
Julio’s Huevos is the highlight of their weekend brunch menu: grilled chicken served with crispy tortilla strips and brunch potatoes, accompanied by salsa. Other famous dishes include fried chicken served with waffles that come with both syrup and hot sauce. In addition to a variety of non-alcoholic options including hot coffee and fresh juices, Ida Claire also features a separate section on their menu dedicated to wine.
Bread Winners Cafe and Bakery has multiple locations throughout Dallas, including one in Inwood Village, Uptown, and Northpark Center, with both indoor and outdoor seating options available at all three branches.
Au Troisieme
Au Troisieme (“The Third Place”) is a polished, globally influenced bistro that rises above the other restaurants in Preston Center. The café’s modern interior—with a small bar, wooden floors, and rustic walls—makes for an exciting contrast to the traditional look found in many other coffee shops. It also has a nice but small patio perfect for brunch during summer and springtime.
Their weekend brunch is a special menu featuring baked custard French toast, fish provencal with white wine tomato, copers pan sauce, and many other delicacies. The bar serves mixed drinks, including their famous cocktails—the Rosy Mary and Unusual Situation—a perfect blend of sweet and savory sensations!
Oddfellows
Oddfellows is a stylish and comfortable cafe in the Bishop Arts District. A trendy neighborhood that offers an invitingly relaxed atmosphere. An old bicycle dangling from the ceiling symbolizes this spot’s casual charm. It also has a lovely outdoor patio for patrons to enjoy on sunny days.
The menu features classic American dishes as well as seasonal specials. Their signature dish is the deviled egg appetizer, and their top meal choices include buffalo macaroni and cheese and a breakfast sandwich best paired with their famous chop salad. Their veggie burger with an oat patty is an excellent option for vegans. They also offer plenty of drink options—teas, coffees, and mimosas.
Oddfellows takes no reservations, so there’s usually a long line after the doors open at 7am. Yet it remains one of Dallas’ most popular brunch spots. If you’re trying to avoid waiting, try getting there early!
Knox Bistro
Located on Knox-Henderson, Knox Bistro offers a tasteful dining experience with soft yellow light and artfully decorated walls. You might not expect French cuisine to be so approachable—but Knox does it well!
The brunch menu offers a variety of dishes, including Rillettes de poisson, Quiche Lorraine (a French tart), and Croque Monsieur (a hot sandwich)—all prepared by chef-partner Bruno Davaillon. Another good thing about their food is that they use locally sourced, organic ingredients whenever possible.
Besides serving delicious food and creating a lovely ambiance, Knox Bistro offers private rooms for memorable lunches or parties.
Bistro 31
Bistro 31 is a well-liked, elegant restaurant in the upscale shopping district of Highland Park Village that boasts both fashionable St. Tropez decor and an excellent cocktail-cum-sushi den. The décor has a distinctly European look—from stunning bespoke Murano chandeliers to white wood herringbone floors.
On the weekend brunch menu, you can expect French, Italian, and Spanish flavors in dishes like black truffle gnocchi and filet au poivre. Bistro 31’s menu also features a wide assortment of chilled seafood dishes and sides. If you have room for dessert after eating all your meals, go ahead—their desserts taste just as good as they look!
Conclusion

Whether it’s a traditional omelet or something more exotic—like fish provencal with white wine tomato and copers pan sauce —you can enjoy the best brunch in Dallas. No matter where you choose to brunch from our list, you’re guaranteed a good time. So make a reservation and enjoy all the fantastic food and drink options!
