New: Earn up to 11x Bilt Points at Select Restaurants

Bilt Rewards, the first points program to allow renters to earn transferrable points on their monthly rent payments without paying a fee, is giving members a way to earn even more points when dining out.
Earlier this week, Bilt launched an exciting new feature in its Bilt Rewards app called Bilt Dining, allowing members to earn bonus points at participating restaurants. While the biggest bonus is for members who pay with the Bilt Rewards Mastercard® , Bilt also rolled out Bilt Wallet the same day, which lets members link non-Bilt cards to the dining program in the app and earn extra points.
Here's what you can earn through Bilt Dining.

5x Bilt Rewards points for every dollar spent at participating restaurants by paying with any non-Bilt credit card (Visa, Mastercard, and American Express cards only), plus any additional rewards you might earn from those cards
8x Bilt Rewards points for dining and paying with the Bilt Mastercard (5x Bilt points for dining + 3x Bilt points for paying with the Bilt Mastercard = 8x Bilt points)
11x Bilt Rewards points for dining on Rent Day and paying with the Bilt Mastercard (5x Bilt points for dining + 6x Bilt points for paying with the Bilt Mastercard on Bilt Rent Day = 11x Bilt points)

This may seem like an appetizing way to pad your stash of transferrable points, but there's one big drawback: Limited availability. As of publication, participating Bilt Dining restaurants are located in New York City, Boston, Atlanta, Dallas, and Chicago , with more cities to come. For now, if you don't live in or plan to visit one of those cities, this feature won't be particularly useful to you.
Bilt Dining may be the headline here, but Bilt Wallet deserves some excitement as well. It's intended to give Bilt members a way to earn Bilt points across more spending categories even if they don't have a Bilt card. Right now, the main purpose of this digital wallet is to link non-Bilt cards to Bilt Dining. Given that Bilt has been a disruptor when it comes to loyalty programs since bursting onto the scene in 2021, I'd expect Bilt Wallet's functionality to grow over time.
Let's cover the basics of how to earn more Bilt points through Bilt Dining.

How Bilt Dining Works
If you're not already a Bilt Rewards member, you should be. It's free to sign up  and even if you're not a renter or have no intention of getting the Bilt Rewards Mastercard, there are plenty of ways to earn valuable Bilt points, which can be transferred to a growing list of airline and hotel partners or redeemed through the Bilt travel portal .
After signing up, you'll need to download the Bilt Rewards mobile app, available for both Apple and Android users. Like most features of the Bilt Rewards program, Bilt Dining is only available in the app. You should see this new tab already if you've already got the app on your phone, but if not, a simple update should make it appear.

After you've navigated to the dining tab, within the Bilt app, you'll want to scroll down to the Bilt Wallet. This is where you can link non-Bilt Rewards credit cards to the new dining program.
If you currently hold the Bilt Mastercard, it will automatically be added to your wallet and linked up with the new dining feature. If you plan to use a different payment method, perhaps one that earns extra points for dining out , this is where you'll add it in order to earn additional rewards through Bilt Dining.

Even if you don't know when you'll be able to take advantage of the Bilt Dining feature, it's still worth adding cards to your Bilt Wallet right now. No doubt in an effort to incentivize this new feature, Bilt is offering 100 points for every card you add, up to three cards. It's not much, but free points are free points!

Once you have all your cards loaded into the Bilt Wallet, you can search for participating restaurants. Right now, Bilt Dining is currently available only at select restaurants in New York City, Boston, Atlanta, Dallas, and Chicago,  but I'd imagine it will expand to other metropolitan areas soon.
When you do dine at a participating restaurant, you'll earn bonus Bilt points depending on the card you pay with and when. Members who pay with the Bilt Mastercard can earn up to 11x Bilt points for dining, otherwise, members earn 5x Bilt points.

Thrifty Tip: On the first of every month, you earn double points on all Bilt Mastercard purchases, up to 10,000 points. That's 6x on dining, 4x on travel, and 2x on everything else – this is in addition to 1x earning on rent payments.

Bottom Line
Bilt Rewards program members can now earn 5x points per dollar spent on dining out at participating restaurants through a new feature in the Bilt app called Bilt Dining. If you hold the Bilt Mastercard, you'll earn an additional 3x points per dollar spent at those restaurants for a total of 8x points per dollar spent – and up to 11x the points on the first day of the month.
Bilt Dining isn't widely available at restaurants yet, but with the addition of this feature and Bilt Wallet to its app, Bilt Rewards is continuing to add more value for members.
