Hawaiian Airlines unveiled the new design of its Boeing 787 Dreamliner cabins, including a new business-class suite, dubbed the Leihōkū Suite.
Leihōkū means “garland of stars” in Hawaiian.
The new interior features colorful patterns inspired by sea and wind, and starry skies, according to the airline.
The Honolulu-based carrier placed its initial order for ten Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft in 2018 and later added two more to the order, for a total of 12.
Hawaiian’s Dreamliners will feature 300 seats, including 34 Leihōkū business-class suites and 266 seats in coach, including 79 premium-economy lite seats.
The Leihōkū suites will be arranged in a 1-2-1 configuration and each seat will feature an 18” display, personal electrical outlets, USB ports, and wireless charging.  Above the suite will be a ceiling that depicts a starry sky.
In coach, the premium-economy lite seats will feature additional legroom and personal electrical outlets.  All coach seats will have a 12” personal display and USB-A and USB-C outlets.
Hawaiian’s first Dreamliners will enter service in early 2024 on select routes.
